Mr. Karamjit Dhillon

Mr. Karamjit Dhillon Originally, from the Punjab province of India, Karamjit and his wife migrated to Canada in 2007. He gained his Bachelor of Arts and Law Degree at Punjabi University in India and was called to the Bar of Punjab and Haryana in 1999. He passed the required examination in order to practice law in Canada in 2010 and was called to the Bar in Manitoba (Canada) in June 2011.

 

Karamjit articled with Booth Dennehy LLP, a well-respected mid-size law firm in Winnipeg, Manitoba for 2010-2011 and continued to practice there until April 2013. He spent last month of his articles participating in a judge-shadowing programming with Provincial Court of Manitoba. After being called to the bar of Law Society of Upper Canada, Karamjit relocated to Brampton, Ontario and established his own law office in Brampton.

 

Karamjit practice law in India for 8 years before heading to Winnipeg. He carried on a general practice in Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu. His greatest pleasure comes from getting to know his clients in order to give them the best possible advice, tailored to the particular demands of each individual situation. Back home, he was extensively involved in his local community by volunteering his time and talent to many groups, associations, and boards. His language skills and knowledge of different cultures make him good addition to a multicultural Canada. Besides Law, Karamjit enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and participating in cultural, political, and religious activities.
